Thursday is no blog post day usually, but this month my usual schedule has flexed in favor of spontaneity and other circumstances. Today you will not be reading me on my own pages, but you will be redirected to a very nice blog, Savoring Italy, born from the enthusiasm and love that Lora and Megan feel for Italy.For those of you who have been following me for a while, yes I am talking to you bread baking freaks, already know Lora. On the web she is better known as Cake Duchess and not only she is passionate about everything related to Italian culture and cuisine, but she also launched one of the best and exciting online bread recipe collection: Twelve Loaves. I cannot describe the feeling I felt when, a few months ago before left for London, I received a private message from Lora on Facebook in which she asked me whether I might be interested in writing a guest post for her blog dedicated Italian culture and cuisine. I almost fell off the chair! I accepted despite the performance anxiety, and immediately started brainstorming to make my post and recipe as special as I could. Savoring Italy Guest Post e Saccottini morbidi con sorpresa
Giovedì non è giorno di post per me, ma questo mese gli equilibri sono un po’ saltati a favore della spontaneità e delle circostanze. Oggi non rimarrete tra le mie pagine ma sarete reindirizzati ad un blog molto bello e curato, Savoring Italy, nato dall’entusiasmo e dall’amore che Lora e Megan nutrono per l’Italia. Per chi di voi mi seguisse già da un po’, specialmente mi rivolgo a voi appassionati dell’arte bianca, sapranno già chi è Lora. Conosciuta sul web come Cake Duchess non solo si appassiona a tutto ciò che riguarda la cultura e cucina italiana, ma ha anche lanciato una delle raccolte di ricette di pane più frizzanti della blogosfera: Twelve Loaves. Non posso descrivere la sensazione che ho provato quando, qualche mese fa e prima della mia partenza per Londra, ho ricevuto un messaggio privato di Lora su Facebook con il quale mi chiedeva se fossi interessata a scrivere un guest post per il suo blog dedicato alla cucina e cultura italiana. A momenti cado dalla sedia! Non potevo sottrarmi a tale invito, nonostante le ansie da prestazione, e mi son subito messa a far girare le ruote del cervello per creare un post ed una ricetta speciali. Ma bando alle ciance, vi mando direttamente da Lora e Megan per leggervi il mio post e gustarvi la mia ricetta speciale per i saccottini con sorpresa!
